The DevART branch of LearnNavi.org is finally here!
The Learn Na'vi DevART group has been approved and is now active! If you consider yourself to be a Na'vi speaker or are merely interested in seeing why I keep ranting about it, I invite you to check it out! As of now, there's absolutely no content posted, but hang in there and we'll get plenty up soon, hopefully.
If you've got any questions, feel free to ask as I'm the founder of the group and therefore good at answering them.

I should. I am planning on doing one, and I'm also in the process of avatarizing myself, but so far i think it looks ridiculous and I'm not exactly sure how to go about doing most of it.

:iconmeganbednarz:
lol. Well, first you use the blue paintbrush on "color" mode ;)

:iconaeroflyte:
Well, yeah. And after having my mom take a few good pictures of me (she used to be a photographer) I'm a lot farther along and might be done with it today.
Wait, there's another mode than "color"?

:iconmeganbednarz:
=P you don't do much digital painting, do you? =P

Also, the smudge tool has "lighten" and "darken" modes. I have used that before to make some very convincing clouds.

so i thought i would tell you i saw avatar today, it had freakin amazing graphics :0000 like BEASTLYYY xDDD but the storyline wasnt very original, it was alot like Ferngully lmao and uh the scenary looked ALOT ALOT ALOT like Halo dontcha think? xDD like the spaceships and floating mountains and stuff???

im a caramellfapbunny! :D
:iconaeroflyte:
Cool. Why does everyone say that it doesn't have an original storyline? fpi Eywa, Star Wars technically doesn't have an original storyline! Everything has been done! The whole hero cycle was illustrated centuries ago, and therefore every "good guy vs. bad guy" film could be said to have an unoriginal storyline.

:iconxkankurosgirlx:
thats true, but there are ways to make a story differ from another already done story, avatar did this by using avatars and all that jazz. but the humans come to magickal place, what they're looking for is under some type of village that the main person in the story is attached to blahblah has been done lots and lots of times. but srsly HALOOO i was waiting for master cheif to come out and kick some ass xDDDD lmao

:iconaeroflyte:
Whatever. Halo and Avatar look similar because they're both logical extensions of today's military style and feel.

Done lots and lots of times? It's been done 3 times that I can think of. Pocahontas, Fern Gully, Avatar. How many times has the "fledgling rebellion vs. evil megaforce" been done? Too many times to count. And yet nobody is complaining about that genre.
